I finally had a chance to use this circular router jig with my Milwaukee M18 compact router today and it performed well cutting a 5" hole in 3/4" MDF. The tool doesn't come with instructions on how to set it up, but it's pretty straight forward and should be easy for anyone that owns and uses a router in their woodworking hobby.

One thing you should note is you need to cut in a clockwise rotation so the pivot screw stays nice and tight in the retaining nut. If you cut in the counter clockwise direction, the pivot screw can come loose depending on the hole size you drilled for the center pivot. I used a 5/32" drill bit to make sure pivot screw was snug and had no play in it, and this allowed me to cut a perfect circle.

For the money paid, the Roka Tong circular cutting jig is pretty good value and does the job.

It’s hard to find a jig that handles small circles well. The range on this one is excellent, and it covers the smaller diameters I was after. The accompanying video was helpful. For beginners, it might be useful to include a bit more detail on things like drill bit size for the center pin and how to manage the final breakthrough when the cutout releases and the pivot point drops away. That wasn’t an issue for me.

Overall, it’s a really solid product. I’m pretty type A about tools, and this one gets a double thumbs up from me.

The circle jig was just as described and fit my Milwaukee router perfect. Made cutting holes way easier than by hand.

I got Milwaukee Router circle guide last week. I put it on to test fit it and it all lined up. I had nothing to cut at that moment but I believe this will work perfectly for some craft items I am making for my wife. Thanks!
